What is a Zone?

A Zone is a defined geographical area used to organize delivery regions within your logistics system. Zones help structure shipping rules, set delivery times, and group related cities or districts under a single name for easier management.

Why Use Zones?

Zones allow you to:

  • Group nearby cities or districts together.
  • Define expected delivery times for each zone.
  • Apply delivery policies or special pricing based on the zone.
  • Simplify operational planning for couriers and distribution teams.

Example

Suppose your company delivers across Greater Cairo. You can create a zone called "Cairo Governorate", and within this zone you can assign the following cities:

  • Nasr City
  • Maadi
  • Heliopolis
  • Mokattam
  • El Ma’sara
  • Shubra
  • Downtown

Then you can set the delivery duration for this zone to be, for example, 1 working day.
